Georg Wilson (b.1998) is a British painter. She received her BA in Art History at the University of Oxford (2020) and MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2022). Her work has been exhibited internationally including Berntson Bhattacharjee Gallery (London), Palazzo Monti (Italy) and Saatchi Gallery (UK), amongst others. She is a twice-recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields award (2021-2), was shortlisted for the Ingram Prize (2022) and New Contemporaries (2023).Wilson’s practice is directed by the cyclical change of the seasons. Her paintings conjure strange stories, woven out of ancient and contemporary folkloric customs from across the calendar year, from equinox to equinox. By teasing this obscured knowledge into the present, her work seeks to enchant the viewer into a sense of curiosity about this land.

Alternatively, Freedom from Torture can help organise national and international delivery of artworks through a third party, to the winner. The winning bidder will be responsible for all delivery costs and will be invoiced directly by the third party.
